Re: Health Insurance for self/non employed HELP!

Re: Health Insurance for self/non employed HELP!

We fly out next Wednesday too! Heading to Charlotte, NC. Had to book flights in advance since we've shipped our things already (US Customs requires flight info), so we took a chance it would be ok...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

Good luck Oliver. I meant to post earlier that my UKC husband got his approval last week with no issues, so we are good to go.

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

I sent the 230 & 2001 the day I received the case numbers, well before the medical. Got the interview letter 2 weeks after the medical. Interview date was 1 month later.

Re: DCF Filing in Nov/Dec/Jan

Hi chask - thanks very much for posting this. Very useful tips! We're using assets only on our I-864, so would you mind giving more details what "ample evidence" they asked to see? For instance,...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

I don't think the Consulate/IV Unit are aware that USCIS sent some petitions to Rome, so they probably think they are assigning case numbers on a first come first served basis. The operator I spoke...

Re: I-864 help.

Yep, I agree. Will try to find related posts. Maybe Rene is correct that the situation with others I read about was that they were sharing a household. Intention to domicile is probably our...

Re: I-864 help.

Thanks Rene. Will have to be bank statements and some evidence to explain a bulk deposit from an inheritance. I would think a letter from the estate attorney or executor (personal rep) of the estate...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

The USCIS gave me the Operator Assisted premium rate number 09042 450 100 (hit '3' to avoid listening to all the options & go straight to Immigrant Visas help desk). Think it's open until 9pm. It's...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

I just called the Operator Assistance number to check on case number. They asked to speak to my husband (UKC) and gave him his case number over the phone. They told us to go ahead & book the...

Re: DCF Filing in Nov/Dec/Jan

Great news, Lisa! (We also got I-130 approval recently after Jan 24 filing.) I think this whole Rome thing caused the confusion/delay.
I'm probably moving to US ahead of my husband too (I'm the...

Re: DCF Filing in Nov/Dec/Jan

I bet all us Jan filers get approval letters soon. I suspect (based on limited facts!) they sent a bunch of petitions to Rome for processing and just got them all back.

Re: DCF Filing in Nov/Dec/Jan
