Re: My "start the timer" K1 thread!

Hi everyone! I hope that you are all doing good. Anyway, I just got a text and e-mail on August 1st to say AOS application has been approved and that card production has been ordered. Quite a relief!...

Re: My "start the timer" K1 thread!

Hi everyone!

Hope that you are all well. Still waiting for news on my AOS. The acceptance date for it was September 19th and my USCIS account shows it has not been "touched" since, I've called the...

Re: AOS interview tomorrow March 6th

Hi Ian! Good luck to you for tomorrow!

I live in New York too. I applied for my AOS back in September and did my biometrics in early October. I have heard nothing about an interview as yet. I hope...

Re: Issues at POE when using AP

Hi Jeff.

CBP took the I-94 from my K-1 entry and replaced it with a I-94A which they stapled into my passport, and stamped with a "paroled" stamp.

Re: Issues at POE when using AP

Interestingly enough. My flight back to the UK was scheduled for October 9th, thats the one I supposedly departed on. It was an overnight, arriving at final destination on afternoon of the 10th. I...

Re: Issues at POE when using AP

What is TRIP redress? Thanks for the post.

I find it very strange that I'm logged as having left without even having checked in at the airport. Surely the airline know I didnt board the flight. No...

Re: Issues at POE when using AP

Hi Rene,

I'm looking at my AP/EAD card now, indeed I thought you were right, it shows as expiring 12/03/13 I thought that meant December 3rd. So was surprised to remember the CBP officer saying it...

Issues at POE when using AP

Hi everyone! Hope you are all well.

So I entered the US on my K1 at the end of July 2012. I booked round trip flights, with the return set for early October, but had no intention of travelling...

Re: My "start the timer" K1 thread!

Hi all!

My EAD card arrived yesterday and had the AP line on it too. The USCIS website shows the case status of my AP as being approved, but no card production as of yet. But I have the AP in...

Re: My "start the timer" K1 thread!

Hi all! My EAD application status = card production ordered. My AP status is approved but it's not gone to the "card production ordered" stage.... but the EAD and AP are on the same card right? Does...

Re: My "start the timer" K1 thread!

Hi Jeff,

We came through fine overall. No damage to ourselves or our property. My wife did lose some work shifts due to her workplace getting flooded. So we lost some money due to that, but we are...

Re: My "start the timer" K1 thread!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. Just a quick update - my EAD and AP have been approved! May take 30 days for the card to arrive, apparently! I signed up for text updates, but did not receive...

Re: My "start the timer" K1 thread!

Hi there, for the biometrics there were no questions asked, other than confirm my nationality and citizenship. Other than that is was just a member of staff taking the fingers prints and making sure...

Re: My "start the timer" K1 thread!

Hi everyone, I was close to the Woodside USCIS office this afternoon so decided to try my luck again. The center closes at 4PM, they close the doors at 3:30PM. I arrived at around 3:20 PM. There was...

Re: My "start the timer" K1 thread!

Hi everyone,

My walk-in did not work. Staff were very nice, but they said this week was exceptionally busy, with 300+ scheduled every day. They did say trying a walk-in towards the close of...

Re: My "start the timer" K1 thread!

Hi Jeff,

Well it seems that doing a walk in speeds up the process, as this seems to be a stage where nothing happens towards the issue of my EAD and AP, until the biometrics are completed....
