I got in touch with my local consulate yesterday since my CC hadn't been charged and my travel date is May 15th. They took my information and said they'd call the Embassy and see where it's stalled...

Well, the first trip will be a cruise and the only ports outside of the US are in the Bahama's.

The second to Milan is on KLM, which I sort of remember them being understanding about this stuff....

The way it's looking, I won't receive my passport on time for either my vacation or business trip in the middle of next month.

I understand that there is an "Emergency Passport" that is available...

I sent my passport via FedEx on 4/7, received 4/11. Still waiting for the card to be charged as of 4/28.


Spoke to a wonderful idiot at the Careline who told me there is nothing I can do, and...
