For what it's worth, the greying out doesn't actually match form C1. If you were born in the UK, but before 1983, OL doesn't grey out your parents' details, but you skip that section on C1. (Or at...

No, I had the same thing. With a countersignatory on the application. My passport had been expired less than six months.

Haven't heard back, so who knows if they were satisfied.
