Yes, I've noticed also with single trip the coverage time is longer, but didn't realise it's up to 85. That's great.

Some one who attended the E&O tea time meeting posted in the Fbk MM2H that half the FD can be withdrawn for medical, property purchase and kids schooling. Which means RM250k would still be in FD....

For me Credit cards are more useful than Debit cards. Pay almost every thing with Credit cards then clear off when statements come, save me going to get cash at the banks and getting interest free...

No nothing like 0.5% but don't like to deal with foreign brokers eg US. Not familiar with the US tax. In the past few yrs the funds were making good money so I don't mind paying the 1+% and less...

Different banks recommend different funds. You just have to go talk to the RMs, look through the kind of funds they have and what you want eg good equity funds with good dividends or funds that will...

Citi bank and OCBC banks allow Canadian passport holders to put money in mutual funds.
HSBC Msia doesn't allow that ;-/ Also their FD rates are so low compared to other banks. Talked to RM, he can't...
