Well, just arrived via Faro from Birmingham. Birmingham very quiet with only a few shops open. Everyone wearing masks although children under 12 don't need to. Social distancing through security...

That's right; from midnight tonight anyone arriving back from Spain has to quarantine for 14 days; what's the betting the government will now change it so that we can go to Portugal instead!!😟🤔

thanks, that sounds promising. I believe that when you fly to Spain you have to fill in paperwork before you go; is there anything to be done beforehand to Faro or only when you get there? 😎

I don't know what it's called but the ferretería on the corner opposite the market cuts keys too. I have had several done there. It might be called Ferretería Camilo.

Costa Esuri golf club did a similar thing. We used to pay €10 a month until they did away with the discount. Not that we ever gained €10 in discount anyway but there was no longer any incentive.

Sorry if I wasn't clear about this Jon; the school bus leaves Ayamonte at about 3.00 pm. Several years ago when the bus service for Esuri began it left from the bus station and we could get on it too...

we always book through Zest (formerly Economycars) and usually use either Rentauto or Travelrent. I know that Jon would agree but would also have other options. We have had problems when using both...

it stops at the bottom of your road. Technically I think it's supposed to drive round but it never does. It goes from Las Encinas to La Jara and then onto Colinas
