Reggio is OK but you haven't missed much to tell the truth... they ARE trying to pretty the place up but nobody really lives in the old town centre any more and the local speciality shops are closing...

Hi Mark, yes Ferrara and Reggio are in the same climate - and earthquake - zone!
But Ferrara wins hands down re the lovely town centre, a fabulous backdrop for Gli Occhiali d'Oro?

I would suggest getting at least three local quotes for comparison, if at all possible from firms recommended by friends. Paying any money for a shoddy or incomplete job is a bad deal.
