All done and dusted. Picked up our new cards today. Just under 2 weeks before the current cards expired.

Finally received our residency cards. It took 5 weeks from the day we went to the office to receipt.
Next step, renew the foreigner's ID card.

Re the fee - I was prompted to pay it online at the EnterHungary site. Glad to hear you had a good experience at the BP office.

Thank you. I will look into local options. My husband has asthma, but apart from that, we don't have any pre-existing conditions. Will be interesting to see what the quote turns out to be.
