Does anyone know how Brits (with a UK passport) living in Hungary will be treated under this new system?

From what I see here https://travel-europe.europa.eu/ees/...es-not-apply## you shouldn't need to do anything if you have residency.

The EES does not apply to:

• Holders of residence permits and long-stay visas

If you hold an EU residence document or a long-term visa then you are exempt from EES (and ETIAS) formalities.

I'm on my way back from England at the moment and will arrive home this afternoon. I went through customs at Dover on Friday evening, presented my passport, Hungarian address, registration and ID cards and went straight through, as it should be. No questions, no stamps. I arrived in England at the beginning of October, before EES started.

Looks like someone's had their account hacked........or started on the pop very early
