I,m pleased this helps, I forgot to mention that you should send the "subject access" request/forms etc to the police force that dealt with you at the time eg Merseyside police/cheshire police...

This is easy to resolve.
Ask your local police for a "subject access" form, fill it in and return it to them with the fee of about £10.00 if I remember correctly plus proof of your address and...

Well as its not on your police certificate that means its not on the PNC (police national computer) so I dont see anyway that it can now come to light.
It has been deleted, weeded, no longer exists....

Thank you, I had an awful feeling that the "dependent" child had to be completely dependent on you ie have no money of his own from work etc looks like I,m wrong and just as well as our 19 year old...
