Re: Has anybody invested in FDRC?

I am already talking to immigration attorneys, I just came here looking for opinions from other people. My income is derived from the US, that's why I pay taxes to the IRS.

Re: Has anybody invested in FDRC?

I did mention above that I have been working consistently in the European entertainment industry but as anybody in the business will tell you it's drying up more and more and the only place to be is...

Re: Which EB5 Seattle or Jay Peak?

Thanks. Do you not have to prove it's real before they even issue you with the conditional in the first place? So after you've had it for 5-6 years you can apply to become a Citizen? Do you need to...

Re: Has anybody invested in FDRC?

No only once. 22 now. Maybe instead of over analyzing the psychology behind my ambitions, if you don't have anything constructive to contribute you should just stay away from my threads if it's such...

Re: Has anybody invested in FDRC?

Yes, my business is in finance. That's how I've made my money and will continue. My career that I want to continue to pursue is in entertainment.

And yes, I have an international banking/life...

Re: Has anybody invested in FDRC?

I've been about 30 times over the past 10 years. I know everything about the day to day life and have health care cover anyway, so that's not an issue. As I explained above it's because the US is the...

Has anybody invested in FDRC?

Before anybody says: "Oh no not another thread from you", I've done some thorough research and I could very easily meet the $500k investment for EB5 - my main reason for wanting to come to the US is...

Re: Employer has agreed to give me an internship but doesn't seem to know much about

I already went down the J visa path but the employer isn't USCIS recognized as part of their exchange program. What are the best dating sites you recommend?

Re: Employer has agreed to give me an internship but doesn't seem to know much about

Just to clarify - will I be able to do my unpaid internship without a visa just on the ESTA visa waiver?

Re: Has anyone here obtained EB-3?

Yes - we might be able to argue that no other American can do my job. I'm asking has anybody here done this and how?

Re: Employer has agreed to give me an internship but doesn't seem to know much about

They don't mention anything about a long waiting time. With the American economy in the dumps and hence fewer job offers/applications is the process not likely to be sped up somewhat?

What about EB-3? We should be able to demonstrate that no other American could do my job. Has anyone here obtained EB-3?

Re: Employer has agreed to give me an internship but doesn't seem to know much about

You said it's part of the job requirement - if the job is one that requires a degree but the employer overlooks this and still wants to hire me will that suffice the USCIS that the employer has...

Re: Employer has agreed to give me an internship but doesn't seem to know much about

Please explain, if it's an accredited college it's an accredited college. Plus if it's an overseas BA then a BA is a BA. What's the issue? I can't let not having a BA hold me back.

Re: Employer has agreed to give me an internship but doesn't seem to know much about

Well, they said it would probably be an entry level position they could offer me - does that mean an entry level position would not qualify for a H1-B?

If a Bachelor's Degree is an absolute must...

Re: Employer has agreed to give me an internship but doesn't seem to know much about

Jeez - is there no other way around that? I have neither. Is there any other type of visa I could get to be employed in the US if H1B is not an option?

Employer has agreed to give me an internship but doesn't seem to know much about visa

So I pulled enough connections and eventually got a company in Hollywood to let me intern. I contacted the US embassy and they said I need a J1 visa and to get that the employer needs to provide a...
