ok this is weird. i arrived in the states with my wife November 6th after obtaining my ir1 immigrant visa.
yesterday the 3rd of December, i received two letters from uscis. one was a welcome notice...

Done and DONE! Visa

Called DOS today and after waiting two weeks since we sent in my passport, they told us my visa has been approved and issued. They sent it out Friday which means I should get in in the mail any day!...

After getting a 221g denial after interview back in April 22, 2010 ( due to non-original Affidavit), sending in the new ORIGINAL September 8th, and finally getting a phone call to send in my passport...

The first joint affidavit was rejected because the officer said it wasnt an "original". So i had to get a new sponser, since i could never get hold of the lady who did the first one.
