Retraining

I'm just curious if anyone has ever retrained to be bale to gain entry in Canada? My current job specification isn't listed on the 'New occupation list for FSW Cat 1' however I've been considering...

JAJ: You would still have to get your police reports from the relevant country regardless of the fact it was a British base I would assume, although I was never posted overseas so don't quote me on...

I suppose he might come under: 7216 Contractors and Supervisors, Mechanic Trades at a guess. Think we'll have to look into it a bit more though :)

Thanks for the replies, will have a look now at the list... although I'm sure my husband's job title wasn't one of the 'demand' jobs :blink: Am sure we'll figure it out though :)

I'm just curious about how the points system works? Both myself and my husband scored the same amount of points of 83, but although he got a definite pass, I got the result that I would need a job...

we're looking at moving to BC too, for some of the same reasons as you (well mostly the mountains & lots of water tbh) The weather isn't that big a deal to us as long as we can get 4 decent seasons....
