Re: Spouse Subclass 309 and 100 - refusal

I agree, I think responding to the MRT letter and pointing out that the instructions on their own website state that the person identified in the decision letter from DIAC is the one who has to lodge...

Re: Spouse Subclass 309 and 100 - refusal

Hi Donna,

I just checked all the documentation I have about my case. There is nothing in any of the MRT information that states exactly who should apply for review for each visa type, the only...

Re: Health Waiver

Hi there,

As others have advised, I'd strongly suggest talking to Peter Bollard or George Lombard.

Re: What kind of medical issues matter for grant

PMV is right. Having a particular condition, apart from active tuberculosis which is mentioned specifically, won't necessarily result in a denial if the medical costs are deemed not to be...

Re: holiday entitlements (moved from Immigration)

It pretty much covers everyone other than some workers in WA and people in state/local government jobs in NSW, QLD, SA and TAS. It gives a general guide for Australian workplaces - most of the state...

Re: Spouse Visa: Health Requirement - should we appeal?

Really sorry to hear you're going through this. My husband and I are in the process of appealing to the MRT as he was refused a waiver because of ulcerative colitis.

I thought I...

Re: Is handicapped (right leg) applicant eligible for 175/176 VISA

Thanks Bigaitch - I'm glad you and your wife were able to become eligible - that must've been so frustrating, a change in rules just before submitting!

I also hope the OP has a good outcome...

Re: Is handicapped (right leg) applicant eligible for 175/176 VISA

Thanks JAJ. Yes, we'll have to wait and go through the Migration Review Tribunal process before looking at a ministerial waiver. I'm hoping we'll be successful at the MRT rather than have to rely...

Re: partner migration (Evidence of relationship)

Hi Usman,

As Pollyanna said, the statement of your relationship really is an individual, personal statement so it would be difficult to use someone else's as a template. But, the kinds of things...
