Thanks for your reply. Although your case's 3 month wait has me a bit more worried, it's always good to learn off other's experiences.

Like I mentioned before, her K3 was issued without...

I agree with Rete, that this is the CO's doing, but I am not sure it is administrative processing.

I emailed the Consulate immediately...

Re: Cairo Consulate -- "not at full capacity"

Khadijah:

It's Mabrouk :)

Mubarak is the president. You have to run that one by Abdo, he'll love it. It's all the same to me, thank you.

Re: Cairo Consulate -- "not at full capacity"

Debbie,

Thank you. I'm still not sure when exactly I'll fly over to bring her. I'm hoping to get the IV from Cairo since we're so close.

But that depends when Cairo schedules her interview....

Re: Cairo Consulate -- "not at full capacity"

Its Magic :)

No, we're working on both the K3 and IV visas simultaneously. So when I wrote on the 8th, I was referring to the IV paperwork being completed at NVC, and awaiting Cairo to schedule...

Re: Cairo Consulate -- "not at full capacity"

Apparently, my "email Cairo every other day" strategy worked; I found this in my inbox this morning:

We are glad to inform you the Ms. xxxxxx visa is issued and will be mailed to her...

If it was only one, which one was it?

Re: Our timeline for DCF Egypt - husband received his CR-1 visa

We're still waiting for my wife's visa (K3), but we may also be going through there for the CR-1.

Congrats...

Re: My Driss is here...woooohoooooooo

Heba,

I noticed that too, that's why I asked Alicia if there was a specific reason for opting for JFK versus DC. I'm worried DC POE officers might be less experienced and therefore give people...

Re: My Driss is here...woooohoooooooo
