I finally got through to a second level officer who confirmed my Oath date and said a fax of my oath letter will get sent to me at some point between now and Sept 27th. Keeping my fingers...

One more question. Because my online case status says that I have been scheduled for an Oath ceremony - I am just assuming...

I just read the paper they gave me at my interview and it has an e-mail address for the LA district oath ceremony that you should contact if you need to reschedule your oath ceremony so i will send...

The appointment was scheduled on Aug 30th. the letter was apparently also mailed on Aug 30th.
The next info pass appointment isn't till sept 23rd. I think i need to try and call the service center...

Thanks. There is no point in worrying anyway. Won't help.
Definitely do need to be a state resident for 3 months before you apply to be a citizen. It is kind of an odd rule but it is a rule.

Thanks all. It's looking at around 5.5 month total for LA. About 2 - 2.5 months between fingerprints and interview date from what i can tell.

Thanks Rete. So you are talking about the 'service center' as opposed to 'District Offices', because the n-400 application goes to a center, not a district office. Someone else had sent me this link...
