The figures you quoted were not "thousands per day" as you mentioned earlier. Thousands per year and quarter, yes.

Where have you got these figures about "thousands"? And why do you keep putting quotation marks around the words political asylum as though it's a fake concept?

I agree..which brings me to my original point as to why the OP said eggs were a reason to move to Canada, since I found it really hard to buy decent, free-range eggs there.

Unless the Canadian chickens are extraspecial, surely you can get equal quality of eggs from chickens in Britain?

I think it just adds on to the end of your 12 months working visa, you don't need to leave and come back.

You can stay for 90 days as a tourist after your BUNAC working visa expires, but you cannot work during this time.

I think you'd be working illegally as a visitor, the terms of it state you cannot work.
And from what I've heard it's almost impossible to get into Canada with a working visa unless it's through...

In this form http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pbg/tf/5013-r/5013-r-09e.pdf there's nowhere to enter the dates I entered and left Canada anyway?

I was in AB. And I was in Canada for more of the year, just only working for four months. Does that make a difference....?

Yeah, on Quicktaxweb it says I'm eligible for all of it to be returned - don't have the T4 with me here but I paid about $1000 tax on $9000 earnings. Still not sure how the money comes to me - do...

Hi guys,

Apologies as I know there's already lots of tax threads. I worked in Canada for four months in 2009 but am now back in the UK, and believe I have a decent-sized chunk to claim back....
