I'm currently living/working in Bahrain, however I am contemplating a job offer that will be based out in Khobar. My main issue is the logistical issues + visa issues....

It's called the Persian Gulf and apart from a small enclave called Musandam, Oman doesn't border it. It's situated towards the Gulf of Oman and the Indian Ocean.
