Trouble is. we will not have a Canadian account here....burning our bridges here so we will not habvve to deal with yearly tax forms

Work was difficult to find in Canda and they both returned to UK for a "couple of years" well still there after more than ten years.

We are looking at Blackpool area. We were orginally from Rochdale but....
There are some very nice apartments for sale there. Of course we don not want to be central :thumbdown:

Thanks for all your advice. I do see now how important it is to get the advice of a professional tax lawyer. Will let you know how it turns out. I feel such a strong pull to go back "home"

I fully understand listening for dialects. We are seniours that are planning on returning "home" after being in Canada for 45 years our kids have already returned there, so what are we waiting for!...
