That does not sound good. You should be able to deposit the cheques but there will be charges and clearance delays. Talk to your bank.
It may be better to get then to deposit into your Canadian account and then you do an online transfer.
If I do this from Australian account it costs me AUD20.00 so better let it build up.

Trouble is. we will not have a Canadian account here....burning our bridges here so we will not habvve to deal with yearly tax forms

i went in to them today, they told me you have to be a customer here in aus for at least 3 months before you can open a uk account. to be honest im not sure if they know what they are doing
