Just an update for anyone who read/replied to this thread.
eTa Application was submitted Mid Jan.
Had some initial issues linking the application to the My CIC portal (user error).
Cancelled...

Good point, would it?
Until eTA came into effect we honestly had no idea he would be inadmissible.
Saying that on atleast one of the trips from UK to Canada I was with my dad and at Border Control...

Would being deemed rehabilitated apply for my dad after the 10years even though he had the issue in 1989/1990 also?

If we waited another month or so before applying it would for sure be past the 10year mark since the suspension ended. Would he still have to apply for rehabilitation?

I asked the lady at the test the timelines and she said although they say within 2-4months its usually the earlier

I had my test (Scarborough) March 23, and received the letter for Oath April 15th.
I met another guy who also had his test on that same March 7th I think, he was about 2 weeks before me and he is...

Applied Sept 2014, just got back from taking the test. 19/20.
Had my documents checked and now will wait for the ceremony date to come through.

Question - I see some folks are asked to fill out...

I was told by CIC to send a copy of Uni degree in which would be sufficient
