citizenship language test
Hi,
I'm currently going through my Canadian Citizenship application. Is it correct you have to do a language test? Even for people from the UK who have lived in Canada 4 years?
Confirmation would be appreciated.
Thanks
Joe

Confirmed. A bit annoying but let's be honest, you're not likely to fail. Just a bureaucratic waste of time & money, but there you are.

Exam results, certificates, YTS letters....even my swimming proficiency certificate from when I was 7!!! It proved we were educated for a long period in the UK. They never queried it. CIC received our application on 14th Feb, our ceremony was exactly 6 months later.
