My sister applied to renounce PR and it went straight through. She got her eTA today by email!

Thanks PB65. Unfortunately they have already booked flights so is not an option to fly into states. They need to get this sorted though as they will be visiting many more times over the years. ...

Can anyone verify if they actually take away your UK passport away at the ceremony? I was just told this second hand and find it hard to believe but thought I would check!

I think the studying is tougher than the test. Just a case of knowing your material. In the end I got 100%. A scary day with a very happy ending!

I wish I could find his school id card but he has misplaced it! I think I will go along and get a photo id card from Service NB as our medicare cards don't have a photo on them.

I'll be very glad...

We are getting the paperwork together to apply for citizenship, but I cannot locate our COPRs. I remember signing them at the border and am 100% sure that nothing was ever stapled in our passports...
