Hi Patzy - 2 beds are much more plentiful, but you just have to be in the right place at teh right time and happen to have a property come up that is what you wnat, when you want it, and can view it....

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there isn't really a cheap option! We went through the same thing near Munich in 2002, and AT THAT TIME the requirements meant that you had to have a legally...

I have just returned to the UK after having lived in Munich for the last 12 years. Heidelberg is wonderful - pretty, small, university city, cultural and welcoming if you can find a niche somewhere...
