Thanks thats good advice. So in xxLaLaxx ' s case its taken a long time which seems to be the way it goes for alot of people...so hopefully once you've lodged as long as you keep them informed...

Hiya Bermudashorts, it would be a Community worker. Hoping to get visa through hubbys qualifications and experience via SA state sponsor if theyll grant it but it would be pointless even dreaming...

Thanks for everyones advice and experience, feeling a little better about it now...doesnt seem as scary considering people have made the move on a budget.
Hubbys salary in aus would bring anything...
