If we are refused a X visa are we still eligible for a 6 month tourist visa after admitting we own property,hense being in the knowledge of breaking Indian Visa rules.

They were under the impression that they needed the RBI,s permission to sell,they visited there head office personally in Mumbai, spoke to the head man who gave them an agreement to sell certificate...
