Thanks everyone. PR cards arrived this morning thank goodness (one less thing to worry about). The bags are all packed and can't wait to get on the plane tomorrow morning. :D

I'm flying from gatwick with Thomas cook (Canadian affair) cheap and cheerful - would have looked more carefully at Air Canada if I'd known. :o

It's finally arrived! Leaving for Toronto on Sunday to be reunited with other half (who still hasn't found a job) after leaving him in August. Can't wait to get there, just having a nightmare packing...

1023 days later ... Visas have arrived!!

So we've made it in one piece! On the doormat this morning was "the envelope".
We now have 3 brand spanking new Visas in our passports and can't wait to land - have until Feb 2011!

Toronto here we come!! PPR arrived today!

:thumbsup:Can't believe it's finally here! Applied back in June 2007 and only had medicals on 10th Feb 2010. Now's the hard part - flats to sell, jobs to quit etc - Can't wait!!

Am in process of applying for pr (Just got doc request last month) When we initially filled out forms back in 2007, I put myself as main applicant (a teacher) but after reading up was wondering...
