We have just gone through the same with my wife, qualification was on the list, but not the awarding body, put the EOI in, pulled out of pool first time, they wanted it assessed did a prelimanary...

She used to sell advertising, and now we have our own business selling blinds which is retail, and she is the company secretary although holds no qualifications for this so Im not sure really which...

Sorry nvq level 3 in sales she also has her RSA assessor awards which means she can actually assess NVQs herself.

Put EOi in and got selected 18th November first time, just had a letter from london saying that my wifes NVQ provider is not recognised although EdExcel is on the list and they are regulated by same...

Hi we are the same boat just been selected from pool, we are doing this with no job offer, so know the wait is going to be a longer than if we had a job offer, the process begins for us, good luck...

Thanks for that I have had a quick look at it when we first paid someone to do an assessment it was them that came back with a 176 visa so we went along with it, not worried about my husband coming...

Thanks for that, do you know how they got over the points system then as I thought that all occupations have to be skilled assessed for diac. Sorry to be a pain we are only at the beginning.:confused:
