Re: Moving to Argentina for the love of my girlfriend and the country??

Like us you will probably end up being continuously torn between the two places for all sorts of reasons.

Re: British Expats in Argentina

I was in BA all the way through the armed conflict in 1982 and had no trouble at all on a personal level. In fact the locals that I came across were conscious that I might feel uncomfortable and...

Re: Argentina: Obtaining Residence and DNI

Here's my experience from 1982 for what it's worth.

At a time when probably very few people were applying for residence, and even fewer Brits, the procedure took three months without 'acomodado'...

Re: Argentina: Obtaining Residence and DNI

Even having lived in Argentina through the 1982 Falklands episode and its aftermath, I can't think of a circumstance that would make me renounce British citizenship and adopt Argentine. The DNI has...

Re: Argentina-Info/advice required

I think elhombresinnombre's advice is very sensible.

As a Brit who has had one foot in Argentina (BA) for 28 years (I obviously love the place) I'd suggest you ask yourself the following...
