Re: DIAC's internal procedure after everything "MET"

Venturing a guess, I would say that they would at least be doing a type of a QA process to make sure that the CO has correctly checked everything and that all the required documents were in fact...

Re: Piece of string thread 2009-2010

Looking at the beupdate website this morning things are moving rather quickly this month. Grants for 175 visa's are upto Jan 2009 and figures for grants on a month to month basis puts Jul almost...

I know...

Re: Frustration

I think everyone is just a bit frustrated that things are moving along for some and not others especially when some of the applications have been laying with a CO for months.

If I had to venture a...

Re: Another Visa 175 from HR Country (ZA) Granted!!!

If I had to venture a guess I would say that DIAC deems a country High Risk with regards to how many fraudulent applications are received from there. How secure there passport systems, etc.

I...

Re: Another Visa 175 from HR Country (ZA) Granted!!!

Re: Another Visa 175 from HR Country (ZA) Granted!!!

I pre-empted my PCC application by keeping an eye on www.beupdate.co.uk to see where the current CO allocations were. From there I thumb sucked more or less when I would get my CO and thus scheduled...

Re: How long do I have after visa grant

Just for information purposes, but mine was issued with a 6 month window from the date of Meds and PCC.

Not sure why my entry date was so short even though both my Meds and PCC have a good 5...

Re: Piece of string thread 2009-2010

Well looking at the beupdate website stats there has been more visa's issued (18) in the last two days than for the whole of June (17). So they most definitely were very close to there quota by end...

They were very quick with the Initial Entry date though given that my Meds and PCC's were only done in June 2009.

Re: DIAC announcements from 1st july 2009

I hope you are not planning on using them again. Rather try a different agent. I know that all agents have to be registered with a governing body in Oz. It may just help to contact the governing body...

Yes, seeing quite a few visa's comming through today.

Just hang in there, don't get to excited, it may take them a few days or a week or two to get through all the approvals . I'm just happy...
