In the initial lodgement of the application, its not mandatory to submit payment slips. However, CO may or may not be asked for this evidece depending on CO degree of satisfaction during job...

Do more practice. Since, assuming, that you got 7 in general IELTS listening, writing and speaking - getting a band 7 in reading should not be insurmountable.
