It IS illegal to enter the US on a VWP with the intent to stay. It's not illegal to get married, but are you willing to take the chance? You will need to show that it was NOT his intent to adjust...

If you have any other way to do this (which you do) do it the right way. It could take a little longer, but trust me, it's worth it to avoid the stress.

One of ours (I-485) never even showed up in the online database. When I called to ask why, they basically said "I don't know, just happens sometimes". :frown:

Had AOS interview last Friday, were told we were approved, and that we were obviously a happily married...
