Nicky, I totally agree with you, the wait between the CO allocation and grant is by far the worst :(, but what a relief once you get it! :thumbsup:

vetassess: end of sept 08 (4 weeks)
IELTS: end of oct 08
Victoria SS: end of dec 08 (4weeks)
176 SS application lodged early jan 09
CO: early feb...

two interesting points:
-my docs never changed to "met"
-the grant letter was sent on behalf of CO.

live2learn, I don't think anyone can answer your question re medical, you really have to ask your CO. try the email first and if it doesn't work then try the email...

I would tend to agree with you nickynush, although I've seen the odd november 08 getting grants and I would presume there aren't as many december application due to xmas etc. I was assigned a CO...

out of interest, how did you manage to talk to your CO over the phone? did you call her directly, or did you have to go via the general line? The only number my CO gave me was the general one...

I remember reading a thread on that a few weeks ago. If you email the australian mail service and give them your tracking number, they'll be able to tell you if they received it. take 2-3 days......

Do you have an Australian address in your VETASSESS application? if not, I don't think you need the stat. declaration. It is explained (badly) on the VETASSESS website.

I would definitely go for option 2, especially with your occupation on the CSL! You might even get a CO before you hear from SS.:thumbsup:
I am not too sure how to change from 175 to 176 but...

Hi all,

I was contacted by a CO a while back. He requested medicals, PCCs and forms 1221 and nothing else. Should I assume that I have passed all other requirements?
At what stage do COs usually...

All they ask is for you to provide you address and fill out some questionnaire every few months (3-6 months I think).
I read in some other threads that it's more like a moral obliagtion and they...
