You'd think they could cross check you VISA with your SSN to see if you have paid any taxes and then use that to confirm you are in fact employeed, if no tax is paid they could then make you send in...

My L1 took a couple of days longer than I though it would and I had to re-schedule my flights back*.

They can take up to 10 days I think

*Virgin were very reasonable, the US domestic flight...

At the renewal interview at the London Embassy they take your passport so they can renew the VISA in it, I'm now waiting for theDX to deliver it back to me (currently scheduled between 6 and 10am...

The difference was not clearly explained but now I know! Good news is the DX was scheduled to deliver my passport today:eek:, bad news is I somehow missed the door bell so I have had to re-schedule...

The paper work was all renewed while I was in the states, however the visa in my passport required me to visit a (US) Embassy if I traveled outside of the US (with the exception of Canada/Mexico). So...
