a) my I-485 was rejected for lack of proper documents.
b) I reapplied with fresh set of docs.
c) Much later, I was asked to submit the I-693.
d) an interview was scheduled and...

Thanks Rete, and Rene. With the I-484 filing I only included the I-797C receipt copy of the I-130 form that I had from the USCIS.

Hello again, and thank you all for your guidance.

It is 12 months since I had applied for the I-130, and I have now received an I-797 Notice of Action stating that my I-130 has been approved.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, mine is c(9) and thanks to all the advice I received here, I have sent in my I-131 and I-765 yesterday along with the I-797C notice, photos, ID, etc. I hope the process...

Thank you all for the replies. No, we have not applied for the I-765 and I-131. He's not planning on travelling now, so no need for the I-131 right now, but thanks for mentioning it.
