I kind of liked the idea of living near the sea (as I'm sure lots of people with an overly romantic view of emigrating share) but my wife is more interested in being in land...

State sponsorship is for Victoria so we are looking to go somewhere south of Melbourne. Still not sure on the exact location yet.

My fingers are crossed for everyone waiting. It seems like forever...

Thank you. You're right. It does feel like a big lottery win.

We embrked on this dream in January 2008 and spent most of that year sorting out the skills assessment (I am an electrician)....
