If you've applied to Buffalo then you're just fine. CIC will transfer it to a satellite processing centre if workload allows. Just sit back and let the process work.

Mmm... I don't really think the difference is particularly important. If the dev taking your job is in India or in the next building isn't relevant to the question of performance and pay.
