Talking Re: New Law for immigrants to France???

In any case, one should make the effort. It's only polite. There shouldn't be such a problem between France & the UK, given the Chunnel & the sharing of vehicles, rats & whatever else.

Cool Re: New Law for immigrants to France???

Before anybody criticizes anybody, can we please look at the abysmal state of simple English SPELLING in these posts? If this is the education level, perhaps it is asking too much for immigrants to...

Re: He's gone missing

Bear in mind you are in a Catholic country. The Church teaches that animals have no souls. Therefore, it doesn't matter what happens to them. That's probably why I saw a boy pick up a kitten by the...

Re: He's gone missing

I hope your cat's come home by now! Cats do very well being kept strictly indoors. No fleas, ticks, fights, predators, trucks & the like. A Siamese cat could be attractive to a thief.

Re: Earwigs

So clever they are! Where my cats eat, there are always crumbs on the floor.....so mopping up ants is routine. My OH says to spray them with soapy water. That works...not as fast as the ammonia-based...

Re: Earwigs

If you have children or pets, forget the ant spray!

Surely there will be a Spanish version? The basis of Windex is ammonia. Maybe to concoct some?

Re: Earwigs

Windex spray kills all kinds of critters; ants, cockroaches, centipedes, spiders- whatever! 409 will do it too, but be careful using that around food areas.

Re: importing animals to France ...?

Yes, blood testing & rabies shots where applicable. I stressed the microchip because there are several brands, each with its own scanner. Not all chips can be "read" with all scanners.

Re: importing animals to France ...?

Animals have to be microchipped..and one must make sure the chip is the recognized one for Europe OR you have to bring your own scanner too. This latter makes NO sense to me.Find out which chip it is...
