Re: Green card never received. Where to file I-90?

I don't remember her name, but she was a youngish woman with shoulder-length dark hair. Seemed competent enough at the time! But who know?
I got an e-mail yesterday saying my card had been...

[QUOTE=Eric S.]Well, I guess I was right! We had our Infopass appointment this morning.
They told us that the ajudicator did not update the system with our approval
when it happened, so the...

Finally! Should be receiving greencard (Boston)

I had my successful AOS interview in June - successful in the sense that I received a stamp in my passport and was told to expect my card in the next few months. I later received a notice telling me...

Re: Anyone waiting for greencard from Boston?

I wouldn't worry too much about the online status not changing - it seems to vary so much by case! Still, I'd be interested to hear what they have to say about it. Let me know if they specify when...

Re: Successful AOS interview in Boston - I-551 stamp obtained!

Congratulations!! I' must say that I'm a little envious that you are in the new system that sends out greencards within a month whereas I got stuck with an officer who "messed up" and had me come...

Re: After aproval how long for you get your GC

Interivew was the end of June, no greencard yet. I got the I-551 stamp at the interview, but then received an approval letter telling me to make an Infopass appointment for I-551 processing -...

Re: Boston AOS interview rescheduled.....Grrr....

It's so hard not to make up elaborate theories about the whys of the USCIS. But you're right - it's so not fruitful.
Keep us updated when that interview rolls around. I hope you don't have to...

Re: Boston AOS interview rescheduled.....Grrr....

Oh no! I'm so sorry. At least, as you said, they gave you another date already so you're not back to the horrible waiting. I wonder if they forgot that they're supposed to be closed on the third...

Re: Another Boston AOS success story

I know - it is strange. I'm hoping to receive my greencard anyway, but I'm planning to go in no matter what. O well, at least it was an out-and-out approval notice as opposed to something else! ...

Re: Another Boston AOS success story

That's great! I'm glad you got yours, and I have no idea why I have to make an Infopass appointment to get a stamp for my passport and give passport photos, fingerprints, and signature. I ALREADY...

Re: Letter telling me to come for ANOTHER I-551?!

I wasn't planning to fight City Hall - or anything to do with USCIS for that matter! I have an appointment for July 13th. Maybe they couldn't make my greencard because I submitted "old"-type...

Letter telling me to come for ANOTHER I-551?!

I had my AOS interview on June 24th. The officer took my I-94, stamped my passport and told me that my greencard would come in 3-9 months. I asked if there was anything else I had to do. She said...

Re: Travel with I-551 stamp but without green card - ok?

At my interview, I was told my the officer that the stamp was "as good as a greencard" for the purposes of work and travel. I would have no hesitation to travel with it.

Re: Boston AOS Success

Thanks very much everyone!
Weirdly, I have received not one, not two, but THIRTEEN e-mails from USCIS informing me that my case has been approved. I guess this means I'm approved. So strange - I...

Ours is on Friday! I am actually less nervous than I thought I would be, but I'm sure the nerves will kick up on Thursday night. Perhaps I'm not nervous because I've spent all my time assembling...
