Default Boston Roll Call!

I've noticed that there seems to be quite a few of us who all filed AOS/EAD/AP around the same time and will be processed through Boston. I thought it might be a nice idea to have a thread where we could maybe keep each other informed as to what's going on there. We filed at the end of April, our NOAs were dated 5/10/04, and hubby recently received his EAD and AP (see our timeline!). I check the online case status and processing times for the I-485 regularly, even though I know it's not likely to be updated anytime soon, lol.

Anyway, I figured if all of us Bostonians could post here when we see progress, it might help everyone else have a better feeling for when our approvals might be coming!

Great idea! Here's our timeline so far:
- May 10, 2004: K1 visa approved
- May 25, 2004: Mahir enters the country
- June 1, 2004: Married!
- June 7, 2004: Filed AOS/EAD/AP in person in Boston.
- July 19, 2004: Walked into Boston to find out about why we hadn't received our receipts when our money orders were cashed June 18, 2004. We found out that our receipts (dated June 7, 2004) had been sent to our new house, however the Post Office returned them to sender because Mahir's name was not listed on the address (yet we get the rest of the world's mail and they're not listed on the address). We were given our receipt numbers on a scrap piece of paper and told to call the 800 number to change our address so they could be resent. Requested new receipts via the 800 misinformation line however they said they couldn't resend the receipts.
- August 23, 2004: Used the new InfoPass (love it!) for an appointment to file a change of address (even though there was no change) so that we could get the receipts. Told by the Information Officer that we just need to print off the notices from the internet with our numbers on them for when we go to get the Interim EAD and Biometrics done.
- September 7, 2004: InfoPass appointment to get interim EAD.
- September 22, 2004: Biometrics appointment.
- September 25, 2004: Church wedding and reception
- October 3, 2004: Honeymoon had to be canceled (we were going to Bermuda) because of the timelines for AP (still haven't received).

Just wanted to reactivate this thread and ask if anyone from Boston has had any progress on AOS interviews, EAD, or AP. No news so far with me.

We sent in the AOS/EAD/AP applications for my wife on April 12.
We recieved three NOAs about 2 weeks later.
She did biometrics about a week after that.
EAD and AP were received at the end of July.

No word on AOS appointment yet. USCIS site says Boston office is working on
I-485's from Feb. 27.

Nothing new here... still waiting for that interview letter. I keep hoping they'll miraculously be current suddenly and maybe our letter will turn up tomorrow, but no such luck so far.

No real news regarding that. We got the interim EAD on September 7th without having our NOAs (darn post office). Mahir got a job in his field yesterday (YAY!) and is still working part-time at the same hospital I work part-time at. He has biometrics on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd. Hopefully the other stuff will follow!

Prob best to ignore that. That's the date they switched over to NBC and I don't think they've updated it at all since then.

I think they just sat on my file, totally ignored it and then RFE'd me just for the fun of it!

Well done on your first week of work. We keep saying this but we must meet up when I'm next down your way.

I start my freelance gig on 25th Sept. Looking forward to it.

I haven't heard anything since I submitted my application on April 5th.

Receipt date: April 16.
Biometrics: April 23
Interim EAD: July 21

Still waiting... Online status didn't show a thing besides the receipt date of April 16, 2004.

Hi
We submited AOS stuff August 5 2003 in person in Boston,we were given a date for the interview right away. That was for Feb 26 2004, we went to that and were told we needed to wait for security and would receive a letter in mail 30-90 days later saying when to take passport in for the stamp. We heard nothing by the end of June 2004 so put in an inquiry. The letter arrived begining of August 2004.Passport is now stamped and were just waiting for Daves greencard to arrive in mail,we were told 7-9 months for that.
