We all know when USCIS say 'recommends you bring' that means you bring it!! And if you don't, you know damn well they'll want it!

The yellow form is sent out prior to the interview letter,...

Not at all. It is quite clearly written on the yellow form I received on 6th December 2011, entitled 'Pre-interview Case File Review'

Well after all the worrying about State ID, I was never asked for it at interview and certainly not at the Oath Ceremony!! But hey, it's made me get my a$$ in gear and I'm taking the driving test at...

I am in almost exactly the same position as you! I arrived on 15th Jan 2009 and filed my N-400 in October 2011. I too was required to produce the last 3 tax year's for my interview...

I didn't know a non driver ID existed until today. I work long hours Monday to Friday and the thought of going down to the DMV on 33rd just seems more hassle than it's worth! How long did it take you...

As above, I would definitely add any dates to avoid but it might not make any difference. I had a flight booked to the US for a week and I asked if I could have an interview date anytime after that...
