10kg? I think that's brilliant.

If only I could find my will power from wherever I left it.

That is well over 10% of your bodyweight! That is a signifcant reduction.

I hope you are under 5'7" or so.....else you'd be liable to snap in half next time a shamal comes through.

Yup, I am 5.7 It's been the easiest thing I've ever done to be honest.

It should also be easy to stay off the Snickers if you realise that you're going to put around 15% of your body weight back on.

Still not smoked a ciggie yet this year, but have had a few Cohibas on evenings out - To be honest, I am quite happy just smoking when I choose to but well aware that it could creep back into a more regular thing.

Put on 1 kg (down to not smoking I reckon).

Kept the Gym up throughout January and half of Feb but then started travelling a lot again which affected the schedule (I am so easily distracted) :o

Heading to the Gym this weekend as I want to get the weight well under control before my 50th birthday hols in August.

So then kids. First quarter of the year is done... how are we getting on with the resolutions?

Patsy - booze free?
Scamp - back on the booze, but what about the grub?
Shed - still on the exercise?
shiva - still cutting down the fags?
Bluelionesse - Arabic?
Brains - stopped the baccy?

Those that haven't been able to stick to their plans, any idea why? What caused you to stop? Were the plans too ambitious?

Done it through eating a bit less and doing more exercise (well, actually some exercise!) No major changes. More just stopping the 3pm snickers and replacing it with a coffee. :)

Oh dear, such a rash promise!
Not doing well on the arabic but I have ridden a camel in Liwa, camped with a camel train in Liwa and driven a Toyota pickup across a sabkha whilst racing another one! Apparently I just need to learn how to milk a camel and I will get my "Bedu Lady" badge ;)
