The year ahead- 2012
A serious lack of New Year posts! I'm not into new year resolutions as I think you should live each day as if its your last, but I do have good feelings aboout 2012- I forsee a very good year
So anyone any plans, expectations, dreams etc?
Will the world end this year?

Living each day as if it's your last seems a rather careless policy, especially in these tough economic times. What about putting some money aside for a rainy day?

Obama has only been as ineffective as he has because for the first time ever, a President has had to put up with a Congress that has absolutely no intention of allowing the elected head of state to achieve anything he was elected to do.
The Republicans retaining Congress and/or winning the Presidency will be seen in the same light as those Emperors that oversaw the fall of the Roman Empire... and probably see the world descend into a global conflict for the sake of feeding its industrial-military complex.

You know nothing about American political history, do you?
If memory serves me correct, Obama had a huge Democratic majority in congress from 2008 - 2010, but somehow lost that....

It's f**king disgusting, and it's that sort of behaviour that will lead to the US losing the top spot in the world.
