Luton - not the best example of England's green and pleasant land I admit but there are areas which are not recognisable as England these days...and speaking about it gets you a mouthful about how we have to tolerate other people's customs (which sort of defeats the purpose of immigration and integration...but suits colonisation perfectly well).

We can add Gatwick to the list of places we have to respect foreign customs (which go against common sense security procedures too!) in Britain now.

I read that ; makes one's blood boil. The airport officials should be forced to apologize , fired and fined. The gentleman should be awarded damages. When officials behave in such a manner, they aren't just depriving him of his civil liberties but are doing it to all of us.
Of course it highlights the extreme sensitivity some people of a particular religion have and also the hypersensitive pander to that of people around them.
I agree he should have an official apology and perhaps be awarded some damages (a duty free voucher even). It's not only a sign of how free speech isn't being protected but of the utter madness in airports where it's not required to remove a face covering when going through security???
Someone once said that the system you cannot criticise is the one that is in charge...makes you think doesn't it?

Yeah. Duty Free voucher--must buy booze + bacon sandwich voucher + 2 book vouchers (one for Farenheit 451, one for something else (nudge nudge )).
