I wouldn't question that statistic but I guess you could ask why ?

Wife buys socks instead of giving something wanted as above threads, guy goes out in said Simpsons socks as he has no others. Lady of the night sees socks and knows he hasn't had a BJ in ages so offers solution, husband gives in as in need, wifes friend in the bar sees husband leave, wifes friend informs wife, wife gets upset, wife files for divorce

Wife gets divorced, is miserable and hates men for a while, meets new man and blows his socks off, couple get together, she buys him socks for his birthday and the cycle repeats

You mean husband is a pathetic fool who can't keep his wife sufficiently interested to want to actually have any sexual relations with him. Probably because the man is balding, overweight and doesn't take care of his appearance.

You do raise an interesting point though

Over the years I have heard loads of divorced women griping like mad that their ole man left them for someone younger, thinner, firmer, tighter et al and that he should have loved the person inside, mother of their kids etc etc
Now reason and maturity suggests that this should be the case and of course for many of course it is

But now you infer that its ok for a woman to forget to blow off their lovely old man inside that huge sweaty beer belly with a bald head and hairy ears, who has provided for the lazy cow whilst she sat at home vegging all day to the Jeremy Kyle show.

No piss take at all! I Really truly prefer bald men with a bit of meat on them. I'm not talking about so big they can't put there own socks on or anything but I'm just not into skinny.

Hair loss on men is a sign of excess testosterone, other symptoms include a broadened rib cage and shoulders, andrengenous hair growth (hairy chest) high sex drive and enlarged sexual organs. Now why would I want a pretty boy? ;)
