Thanks everyone for all your ideas, off to check out the YAS race track, and Scamp if he needs a golf partner you will be the first to know :)

Why not make a weekend of it, book a couple of nights at the Viceroy as well? Have a car themed weekend and go up the the Rainbow Shiekhs bonkers motor musuem too?

Bugger.

I'll have to go back to black socks so they don't distract from my glittering conversation.

Well I have been shopping, took inspiration from Meow and got some nice goodies from Marks and Spencers, new pyjamas, and some very nice smellies from LÓccitane.

How old is the old man BC ?

I agree anything that Yas circuit based would be good

If he smokes cigarettes then buy him a Dunhill lighter, beautiful engineering and tactile in the extreme

If he smokes cigars then buy him a decent cigar ashtray as normal cigarette ashtrays are no good, neither is the floor. Some beautiful ones available

Don't buy him a watch, women never get it right. A bit like techy gadgets

I didn't own my first decent pen in life till I was in Bahrain and cashed in my airmiles. Try an ST Dupont outlet. It makes writing fun again

To be honest though I think the blow job in bed followed by breakfast would be pretty good and probably better than a pen or cig lighter.

Have to agree it will make him happiest and cost you nothing other than the time it takes to spit out a few pubes. Go for it

You bought a pen by cashing in Air Miles?? I estimate you were quadruple-overcharged...........

Probably but I had shed loads of miles at the time, had already got the IPAD etc and couldn't bring myself to shell out the readies for a pen in Bahrain Mall at the Dupont shop
