Re: Villaggio Shopping centre
Well I don't know if it will change the powers that be of course. BUT the groundswell of action from Doha Mums members today has been astounding - every single nursery and school (and some residential towers) have been properly grilled by angry mums about their fire escape plans and people are posting them online and tearing them apart. So at least in a small way, changes will come even if it's not through regulation.

Alexa - the nursery owner wasn't at Aspire - that quote came from her father, the Culture Minister, who was there.
He also claimed that the accident "wasn't necessarily avoidable".....

Doha is a very small town and every Doha-ite who posts on this forum knows someone who has been affected.

I have no idea how you ever get over something like that, let alone come to terms with it. I hope they can get some comfort from the support of family and friends but god knows how.

13 small, blameless children have died. Anyone with any humanity would find that upsetting. Your insensitivity speaks volumes.

The mum of the triplets has actually been active on forums since last night, so don't go making assumptions about who might and might not be reading this.

My original post has been edited. Why Bob? I referred to painful deaths and it was changed to painless, which I sadly doubt they were.

All of you jumped at slapphead_otoole's throat for saying something that is bloody obvious. You don't like the truth, your problem. Is it a higher risk to live in the ME for multiple reasons? It is. Go ask your insurer to give you a life policy with the same terms you had in the UK if you don't believe me.

I don't wear my heart on the sleeve, it does not mean I don't get upset. Who the **** are you to judge me??
