I knew a guy at cambridge uni, got a first class honors in chemical engineering I think. Afterwards (and still is) a manager at Game. Some people are just toooo clever for life.

Also stating you are a Mensa member, when someone queries your IQ is one of the dumbest things to do, given the fact that there are many ways that smart people can demonstrate aptitude.
Quoting Mensa membership is a sycophantic way for under-achievers to try and earn caché for their raw intelligence despite their inability to harness it properly.

Where have all these old timers come out of the wood work from? It's like an old people's home around here.

I don't question your IQ. It's the EQ that's the problem.

emotional intelligence you prick. I just have no apathy for sponges, or a 40 year old pretending to be 15, or a zulu living in the jungle.
Anyway, back to the USA debate, I'll need to catch up on what happened last night, but if you want a social commentary watch South Park Season 20, its basically doing a running arc on the election.

I think the election is over. Until the sexual assualt stuff, Trump was in with a real shout...but now it looks like it's Clinton's to lose.
That being said, I've just stuck money on Trump at 9/2.

My prediction:
Clinton wins with around 45% of vote. Republicans control both houses of congress.
A year from now someone finally finds and reveals a smoking gun regarding email / donations to Clinton Foundation / evidence of cover up that is so strong that it can't be ignored or hidden. The stress of the investigation launched by the Republican congress causes Clinton to have a neurological attack / stroke in public.
She resigns citing health reasons (but primarily because of the investigation) and Kaine becomes president. Republicans steamroll back in the 2018 midterms, recovering all their losses this year, and Kaine, discredited for pardoning Clinton or refusing to pursue the investigation against Clinton, becomes a powerless caretaker president for the remainder of the term, leaving the real power in the hands of the congressional Republican leaders.
2020 election: another bloody battle.
As it is, I don't foresee anything but ugly political times in the US for the next four years. But it's the Americans' mess for them to clean up.
