Get a friend working for an IT company and get a free, fast VPN
Seriously though, you need one to survive here. My AD internet account is only the 1 megabit one but its survivable for downloads. I still get 1 megabit download speed when going through my VPN.

Re: UK based VPN
I'm new to this site. I'm a Brit with a house in San Pedro Belize and an occasional property in England. I use a US-based VPN which does for almost all my needs, but I would like occasionally to be seen as being in the UK (for BBC TV mainly). I'm interested in knowing if there are any affordable solutions available to me, either to run in conjunction with my existing US service, or to replace it once my prepaid subscription expires. In the latter case I'd need from time to time to appear to be in the US or in the UK.
I appreciate the risks of posting this info publicly, but I'm open to a PM!

Re: UK based VPN
er, could I jump on the "please PM me!" bandwagon too?
My daughter is having CBeeBies withdrawal and I've just had a look at what's offered on BBC Prime (haha), which seems to be repeats on loop.

If you want to watch iPlayer ( and past shows) you do need a UK VPN but if you just want to watch LIVE TV and UK news...see here:
