Some good choices there. I enjoy a good war movie so let me throw these at you;

Zulu
The 633 Squadron
The Great Escape
Bridge Over the River Kwai
Merry Xmas Mr. Lawrence
The Thin Red Line
We Were Soldiers
Saving Private Ryan
Apocalypse Now
The Four Feathers

I thought "We Were Soldiers" was pretty good until it all went a bit Mel Gibson Gung Ho.

For sci-fi fans, I'd recommend a quite recent one called "Moon" with Sam Rockwell as the lead. Just superb, thought-provoking stuff.

You soppy tart. The storyline is as believable as Avatar, complete hogwash. Watched The Spy Game last night on the gogglebox. Robert Redford and Brad Pitt. Now there is a movie worth watching.
